July was an incredible month of forward progress on multiple fronts.  We enhanced our exam registration process, which has allowed us to really streamline the way we do things.  We have also changed over to another payment processor for our online transactions, which has provided us incredible support thus far.  Before going any further, here are some numbers as of 11:59pm Alaska Time on Saturday, July 31st, 2021:

Total number of examinees we have processed as of July 31st, 2021:    785
Number of exam sessions in July 2021:    17
Total number of examinations administered since December 2020:    914
Total amount of monetary donations from examinees in July 2021:    $130.00

One of the single greatest achievements for our VE Program is the recent release of our exam platform, now called HamExamGen.  We released version 2.0 during the last half of July wich carried numerous enhancements and added features.  Part of the major changes were a complete integration of our exam registration system.  Gone are the days of using a Google form and pulling everything off a spreadsheet!

As we look ahead to August, we have a lot of work to do with our VE Handbook.  We will have a new version of our Handbook released to our VE Cadre by September 1st, 2021 so please be looking for that if you are a member of our VE Program.  Looking to the rest of this year, we remain willing to look at innovative ways to keep our service unique.  For those who graciously remain faithful in their service to our VE program, your work will never be overlooked.  A very heartfelt thank you to all in our VE Program!
