March 2021 by the Numbers

The Aurora Amateur Radio Group managed to pull off another great month of service, despite the days getting longer and warmer.  Here are the stats as of 11:59pm Alaska Time on Wednesday, March 31st, 2021:

Total number of applications received as of this writing:    420
Number of applications received in March 2021:    102
Number of exam sessions in March 2021:    16
Number of examinees for March 2021:    106
Number of examinations administered in March 2021:    127
Total amount of monetary donations from examinees in March 2021:    $530.00

All things considered, we have had a great month.  To add more options for our VE team, we had adopted a new exam schedule that takes effect today.  The purpose of this schedule was two fold.  Offering more session selection for our applicants and also offer more options for members of our VE team to serve.  While we are offering more exam sessions, we do believe our schedule could be modified again, based on the number of applicants seeking exams on a particular day or time of the week.  This also applies to our VE team.  So far, our new schedule has been welcomed by all.

From the added upgrades to ExamGen and incredible feedback given by many of our previous examinees, we are proud to continue serving.  Our desire is to keep doing what we truly love, which is being of service to others and serving America's under served.  April 2nd, 2021 will begin our fourth month doing remote testing as a club and it is incredible how far we have come.  The Aurora Amateur Radio Group thanks all of those who are serving as a Volunteer Examiner and for the countless hours dedicated to helping others!  Keep up the incredible work!
