May had become a very forward thinking month for the Aurora Amateur Radio Group.  The reason for this is we have begun to seek innovative ways to maximize our capabilities in the service we are providing, based upon the number of Volunteer Examiners we have willing to actually commit to serving.  While we certainly know there are always challenges, compromise with our applicants remains our top priority.  The Aurora Amateur Radio Group will be releasing a modified schedule over the coming weeks.  Please stay tuned for that!

June 2nd, 2021 marks a milestone for us.  Six months prior, we began a journey to operate our own VE program as a club.  Lots of things have changed as time progresses, but the goal continuously remains the same.  That is to always be of service to the amateur radio community.  Part of this critical mission involves the service of individuals who are passionate about helping those obtain what they want in amateur radio, along with the personal gratification when someone passes their exam.  You can not stick a price tag on that!

As we look ahead to the next six months, we have some very exciting things coming.  From a potential national recruitment drive of new Volunteer Examiners to major improvements to our in-house exam platform, we are setting ourselves up to be more efficient at the incredible service we are now providing.  For those who are still faithful in their service to our VE program, the Aurora Amateur Radio Group thanks you for your incredible service!  Keep up the great work!
